MARIE W. WOOLF has been the founder, CEO and creative director of numerous enterprises as well as a published illustrator, writer and syndicated cartoonist. Her projects have attracted venture capital in the hundreds of millions of dollars, tens of millions of viewers and unique visitors to their sites, and awards—including an Emmy and the Congressional Medal of Honor. Concurrently, she has served as CEO, executive director, director or advisor on the boards of several nonprofit humanitarian, arts and educational organizations. As a public speaker in these projects she has presented extensively throughout the United States.
Marie is a complete autodiadact, self-taught in all interests and disciplines with expertise gained through experience—and experiments. She began at age three by drawing at the kitchen table on the blank backs of business forms her dad brought home from work. Won local poster contests in grade school, national awards and commissions starting in high school. Accompanying choirs and soloists on the piano, often transposing scores, also began in high school. By 1997, Marie was one of only 4 internationally syndicated women editorial cartoonists in the United States. But no one interest was ever enough.
